legacy heritage property into a mixed-use boutique & culinary destination, featuring 9 boutique bed & breakfast style suites & a reimagined breakfast café & neighbourhood grocery store conversion.

The project draws inspiration from the history of grocers & markets as ceremonial community meeting points, reinterpreted for today’s urban environment as a modern cultural hub for both locals & guests by way of a neighbourhood café & boutique hotel.

The repositioning delivers a layered experience:

  • 9 heritage suites offering intimate, design-forward accommodations in a home away from home-hotel like setting.

  • A bustling breakfast café in the former grocer, designed as a neighbourhood anchor.

  • Community-focused amenities that strengthen the project’s role as a cultural gathering space.

 

The result is a heritage redevelopment that preserves authenticity while introducing 

culturally relevant programming & a new operating model.

  • Operational Planning to create a commercially viable mixed-use model & increase ROI on heritage restoration costs.
