minutes from Los Angeles, the Ojai Hotel reimagines a former Catholic Church–operated aged care facility & former stomping ground of Johnny Cash, into a 39-room hotel, wellness destination, & agri-tourism retreat.

By leveraging agricultural zoning & farm-stay entitlements, KaidCo unlocked a rare opportunity in a tightly held real estate market to create a property development plan that balances cultural resonance, guest experience, & investor value.

The development plan was conceived as a multi-use lifestyle destination, featuring:

  • 39 boutique hotel rooms with a serene, nature-connected design.

  • Wellness retreat facilities including spa & restorative programming.

  • Epicurean offerings through a farm-to-table restaurant, on-site farmers market, outdoor kitchens & celebrated chef programming.

  • Event spaces designed for community gatherings, retreats, & celebrations.

 

Every element was tailored to harmonize with the pastoral surroundings, emphasizing connection to land, food, & wellness.
